Longfellow's Wayside Inn brings the experience of early American life to over 100,000 visitors to the property each year. The Inn was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 1944 by Henry Ford who sought to preserve the property as an important educational and cultural landmark for everyone to enjoy.
