The Redstone Schoolhouse and Wayside Inn Grist Mill are staffed by trained interpreters and are available for touring on a seasonal basis. Click here for a Site Map. Be sure to check the days and hours of operation for each building before your visit. The Wayside Inn is largely a self-guided touring building, available 7-days, 9am to 8pm, featuring period-style room settings, cabinet displays of historic items, and bimonthly exhibits by local artists.

Educational groups and other civic organizations are welcome to visit our buildings with prior notice so that we may properly prepare for your visit. Because of limited gathering and viewing space, large groups (over 18) are broken down into smaller groups and take turns rotating through the buildings they wish to tour. The cost for this type of tour is $2 per person. Please send an e-mail to history@wayside.org to request more information about booking a group tour. ANY group over 8 persons that wishes to tour the Grist Mill or School House should e-mail history@wayside.org to alert staff of your visit.

Note: Interpreters are not trained to present to children under age 8.
