Honoring the Longfellow Era: A Birthday Celebration for America's Poet

You are cordially invited by the Board of Trustees to a Victorian Boston wine dinner in the French tradition!

Join us for a magical Friday evening of great food and good fun, featuring the fine music of Felice Pomeranz: The Gilded Harps and special guest speaker Henry David Thoreau portrayed by veteran actor Richard Smith.

6:30pm Champagne Reception: Featuring sundry Hors d Oeuvres, including imported and domestic cheeses

7:15pm Dinner is Served: Featuring Poultry Consommé with foie gras royal, truffles and black currants; Frisee Smoked Salmon Salad with potato croutons, bacon, quail egg and sweet mustard dill sauce; Pan-Seared Filet Mignon Au Poivre with parsnip potato puree, crisp gaufrette and sauce forestier; classic Victorian Trifle
