A relative by marriage to the Wedgwoods, Longfellow's influence was so extensive that his greatest works have been immortalized on a series of plates issued by the renowned English china manufacturer starting in the early 1900s. Ron Frazier of the Boston Wedgwood Society will speak on the Longfellow plates and the history of the Wedgwood Company.
